This is an external site which CFG have developed under a joint working arrangement with the Furniture Industries Research Association (FIRA) and the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and is based on data collected from UK and European studies.

It features interactive charts illustrating key body dimensions which are critical in planning activities for different ages. The body dimensions "grow" as ages change by moving a slider at the base of each chart.

Advice on how best to select furniture across different ages and sizes is given under the "info and advice" buttons on certain pages in the site.

While useful for general teaching situations, the information is particularly valuable for designers and architects planning room dimensions and furniture or equipment for learning environments.

New information is being prepared to update the site under a similar working arrangement with the addition of the British Educational Supplies Association (BESA).
