Shropshire County Council received significant assistance from the CFG team planning the furniture provision for their brand new Customer Service Centre in Shrewsbury.

Many call centres are very cramped and noisy spaces making them unappealing and unproductive environments to work in. Our brief was avoid this by creating a spacious, contemporary office environment that was warm and welcoming for the staff.

As this was a brand new building, we had the benefit of an empty canvass to work from. Planning the layout of internal walls at the same time as the furniture gave us much more freedom, resulting in a far more successful outcome.

By maximising natural light throughout the space and incorporating bold colour schemes to identify different team areas, we created an energising and stimulating working environment for the staff.

The scheme also included a large staff breakout area, sorting office and training room all of which was planned and furnished by CFG.

Our Cirkit ICT Workstation range is ideally suited to office environments and many of the Council offices in Shropshire have asked CFG to help plan their new furniture layouts.
