Organisation Title	Local Authority Post	Responsibility
Members Local Authorities form the members	Members appoint an officer to represent the Authority (see below).	Local Authority members are obliged to consider consider CFG products for their projects.
Member representatives	Local Authority appointed officer	Maintain a link between the Authority and the Group, ensuring that CFG products and services are considered for projects undertaken in the Authority. Supply information to CFG on projects requiring furniture items or layout and scheduling services. Liaising between CFG Design Office and clients for local projects. Attend CFG events such as annual and advisory meetings. A full list of member obligations is available here.

Council Of Management	Elected Councillors from member authorities	Responsible for decision making on behalf of members by attending regular (quarterly) Council of Management meetings. Attending the Annual General Meeting of Members.

Officer Group Design Officer Supplies Officer Finance Officer Legal Officer	Member local authority officers providing executive services under Service Level Agreements.	Officers provide temporary services as needs arise (except Design Officer, see below)

Design Team Design Officer (Senior Designer) Furniture Projects Co-ordinator Furniture Designer	Member local authority officers providing full-time services under Service Level Agreements	The Design Team undertakes the day to day functions of the Group, providing full-time support for members, including product information and layout planning and scheduling services, undertaking research, and providing expertise for UK standards development, designing products, liaising with manufacturers to ensure quality and continuity of supply, liaising with Central Government departments and private sector partners to maintain and improve furniture provision in UK schools, providing information and advice on CFG products and services
