CFG’s objectives are effectively set out in its Memorandum of Association which was incorporated as a Private Limited Company and registered at Companies House on 4th July 1991.

The main specified objects for which the company is established can effectively be summarised as:

• The promotion of education and the improvement in standards of education by the design, production, distribution, manufacture, supply and standardisation of quality educational furniture and other educational equipment.
  
  
• Carrying on the businesses of designers, patentees, licensees, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, supplies of furniture equipment and all manners of goods:
  

• publishers of literature, information, text books, pamphlets, computer software, video and other recordings and any other mode of reproduction of information, television producers, broadcasters, film and video makers, computer programmers and manufacturers, advisers, educators and technicians.
  
  
• All other activities which the Council of Management of the company regards as consistent with paragraphs above.
